June Contests Update and Prompts List

CONTESTS

--Toasted cheese Midsummer Tale writing contest:
The theme of the 2013 A Midsummer Tale writing contest is: Retreat / Encounter.
Summer is often a time when normal routines are set aside. Sometimes it's a time to venture outside one's comfort zone, to encounter something challenging or unexpected. Sometimes it's a time to hit pause or reset, to retreat from overscheduled everyday life. Sometimes it can be both. For the 2013 A Midsummer Tale Writing Contest, write a story—fiction or nonfiction—of retreat and/or encounter.

Deadline: June 21
