Brian Farenell has been a member of the GFWG since 1998. He has done freelance writing and journalism. In addition to writing for his own blog, he is a regular contributor to the website Adirondack Almanack.
As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, African current events and analysis has been the focus of much of his non-fiction work. He is also working on young adult fiction projects.
Brian has had articles published in publications such as Mano Vision and The Clarkson Integrator as well as letters to the editor in many newspapers and magazines, including Foreign Policy and Mother Jones.
When he is not writing or working at his day job, Brian is usually found biking, hiking or playing, coaching or watching soccer.
